NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES

River

The Bow River, or Ijathibe Wapta (Stoney Nakoda, ‘place where people made bows from Saskatoon saplings’) and Makhabn (Blackfoot, ‘river where the bow reeds grow’), is a vital part of Calgary’s heritage

I am Erin Averbukh, an independent candidate running for City Councillor - Ward 14. I am running to bring Calgarians the change many have expressed they want and need, BECAUSE NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES.

My fearless approach to municipal government promises to be a refreshing shift at City Hall.

I WILL TOE THE COMMUNITY LINE, NOT THE PARTY LINE.

I will CONNECT COMMUNITIES with CONVICTION and COMPASSION and am committed to drama-free politics.

I say what I mean and I mean what I say and I have what it takes to represent Ward 14 at City Hall.

We acknowledge that Ward 14 is situated on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation (Region 3). We recognize the deep connection these peoples have to this land, where we live, work, and gather, and we commit to learning from and respecting their histories and cultures.
