NOTHING CHANGES IF NOTHING CHANGES

River

The Bow River, or Ijathibe Wapta (Stoney Nakoda, ‘place where people made bows from Saskatoon saplings’) and Makhabn (Blackfoot, ‘river where the bow reeds grow’), is a vital part of Calgary’s heritage

I'm Erin Averbukh, an independent candidate running for City Councillor - Ward 14. I am running to bring Ward 14 and all Calgarians the transformative change that City Council needs.

I stand for transparency, accountability, good and fair governance, a well managed city with practical policies that will serve and protect all Calgarians with a strong emphasis on value.

BECAUSE NOTHING CHANGES, IF NOTHING CHANGES.

With a fearless approach, I am committed  to returning municipal government to its baseline of true representation of the people, which promises to be a refreshing and much needed shift at City Hall.

TOEING THE COMMUNITY LINE, NOT THE PARTY LINE.

I will connect communities and council with conviction and compassion. I am committed to working together to take Calgary from greatness to excellence.

Moving Calgary to a more efficient, safe and well served city, governed by an effective, cohesive and transformed Council.

I say what I mean and I mean what I say and I have what it takes to represent Ward 14 and ALL Calgarians at City Hall.

The BEST way to support me and my campaign to be Ward 14's next City Councillor, is to order a lawn sign. (Donations are nice too)

We acknowledge that Ward 14 is situated on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation (Region 3). We recognize the deep connection these peoples have to this land, where we live, work, and gather, and we commit to learning from and respecting their histories and cultures.
